Booking and Payment Procedure

Reservations are accepted for 24 hours 7 days.
Reservation Method and Payment Method are as follows.

1) [Request to arrange car rental]

If you receive a car rental delivery request from customers, please confirm the below information.
  1. 1. If you have an International driving license or not.
    * Please check if the international driving license is issued as "International License 1949" and the number if they have.
  2. 2. Pickup place / return place
  3. 3. Pickup time / return time
  4. 4. Number of passengers (adults and children)
  5. 5. The amount of luggage
    * It will be customers responsibility if they can not put all luggage into the car when they pick up.
  6. 6. Requested car type
    * Please note, it is not possible to specify the car.
  7. 7. Rental car option: Child seat, GPS, etc
  8. 8. With or without the ETC card
    * Customer's credit card information will be required for a toll fee payment. Please send the ETC card application page as below.

2) [Instruction of car rental booking]

Please reserve a car in the following steps from [ToCoo! general customers site]

  1. 1. Please mark the check box of "Distributor" from "Choose option" on the TOP page or searching page after you choose Pickup date / Return date / Place / Car class and click the search button.

  2. 2. The subjected car rental company's plan will be displayed. All plans on the list are available for your booking.
  3. 3. Click [BOOK NOW], please go to Check the total price page.

  4. 4. The car rental fee(excluding tax) will be displayed. Please choose the car rental options from this page.
    • * Children under 6-year-old required a child seat.
    • * Compensation Coverage (voluntary) (If the customer has a compensation coverage, special agents will not be required to cover any cost in case of an accident.)
  5. 5. How to pay will be displayed like Pay now (Pay by credit card).

  6. 6. Please Click on the [Start Booking Process], and go to the Application Form page
  7. 7. Please enter your Distributor ID.
    "Distributor Price" will be displayed under "ToCoo!Special Price"
    "ToCoo! Special Price" is for the ToCoo! general customers.
    "Distributor Price" is for the special agents.

  8. 8. No precise Distributor ID will be displayed, or in the case of non-input, error is displayed.
    Please enter the exact Distributor ID certainly.
  9. 9. Please Click on the [ Automatically fill in passwords from next time]. So you don't have to fill in password next time.

  10. 10. If you forgot your Distributor ID, please use the password reminder.
    If you put your email address as you applied, "Distributor ID" will be displayed.

  11. 11. Please enter necessary information according to the guidance of the reservation form.
    * Please fill out your email address correctly. You will not be able to receive a confirmation mail if you register a wrong email address. Please note, the reservation will be confirmed even the address is not correct. It will be special agents responsibility if there is a No-show.
  12. 12. Please Click on [I accept the cancel policy below].

  13. 13. Please register your credit card.
    • * You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel your reservation 7 days ahead of time or if you cancel your booking less than 7 days, but within 24 hours after your reservation is confirmed. All the fee will be refunded.
    • * Accepted card: Master Card / VISA Card
    • * For security, the credit card information will not be saved. Please register your credit card information for each booking.

  14. 14. Please go to the "Check the condition" page after you click "Save This" and "Confirm" button.

  15. 15. Please click "Book Now" button after you confirm your reservation detail.

    • * Reservation will be confirmed when you click "Book Now" button and a confirmation mail will be sent automatically.
      * Car rental charges will be paid by ToCoo! to car rental companies. There will be no payment required for customers on the day. Also, they will not inform customers about the amount of the car rental charges. Please inform customers about the reservation detail and to request the charges. Please do not forget to tell them about "Commitment form". It will be special agents responsibility if a problem occurs because of not informing this.

3) [Payment]

The fee(10% discounted from the total fee, which is including a basic fee and options fee), and ToCoo! options fee will be charged to the registered credit card when the reservation is completed. The distributor fee and ToCoo! options fee will be charged separately.

4) [The risk for special agents]

There is no risk for special agents.
If customers have compensation coverage, it will be all covered by insurance in case of an accident.
Car rental company will take care of all in Japan.
Car rental company will request customers directly for the payment below.
  1. 1. Gasoline (petrol) fee : if it is not a fill-up when return the car.
  2. 2. Delay damages : in case return when time is delayed.
  3. 3. Penalties : When it happens traffic violation such as illegal parking, and speed violations.
However, the cancellation fee will be charge to Distributors. Therefore, please do not forget to charge cancellation fee when you collect the fee from your customers.

[Confirmation of reservation content]

For checking the Booking contents, please go to View/Cancel a Reservation page. You can open the page using reservation number and password which is described in the Confirmation email.

[Booking alterations and Cancellation]

  • Cancellation up to 7 days before retroactively by counting from the day before the pickup date will be a full refund.
  • A cancellation fee will be charged from within 6 days back by counting from the day before pickup date.
  • No cancellation fee will be incurred for a cancellation within 24 hours after a confirmation.
  • Changing is not available. You need to cancel your current reservation first and rebook with your update information.
  • Canceling the reservation, please go to [View/Cancel a Reservation] and type your reference number and password which is described in the confirmation mail.
    On "View/Cancel a Reservation" page, please click on the button of [Cancel This Reservation] and a cancellation procedure will be completed.
    * Please note, even if you forget to the proceeding for cancellation to 7 days before, a cancellation fee will be incurred.
